If you think that celebrities get their attractive multi-million dollar physiques from genetics or good luck, think again. You wish. Yes, it’s true a few people are gifted with faster metabolisms that make them really thin, but we’re not talking about being thin, we are talking about having shapely, sexy physiques. The reality, however, is much different.
They work hard at it. Yep. It’s true. Anyone who wants a great body will need to work hard for it. Celebrities make good dough staying fit, and some folks make the mistake of using that as a reason for not being fit and healthy themselves. Some say, “Well of course they are in shape, because they get paid to look good.” Really? Let’s face it, those celebrities do not make money to workout. They only really get paid to perform their work. They workout and stay in shape because they know they have to look good if they want to keep their job. So in fact, they are only getting paid indirectly.
Can we do the same thing as celebrities? Is seems like they are so motivated to workout, so how can we get that way too? Celebrities have personal trainers that help them workout. But the personal training is not there just to monitor their form on each exercise. The answer to that is a big, fat NO. Sure, in the beginning of the personal training there might have been a strong focus on teaching the client the right moves, but pretty soon you have all the moves down pat. So what is the true value of the personal trainer? It’s the companionship. Here’s what I mean.
Some call this accountability, because the personal trainer is there to hold you accountable to showing up to the session. Of course there is some truth to that. But I think that what is really driving the value of the personal trainer, is the same thing that occurs when you have a workout partner. It’s not so much that you don’t skip a workout, as it is that the workout itself becomes more enjoyable when you have someone to share it with. This doesn’t mean that you always have to have someone workout with you in order to feel good. It simply makes it more fun when doing the workout. And THAT is the best value of the trainer or partner. It’s the fact that you are injecting some fun and enjoyment into the process.
So the benefit that celebrities are getting from the training assistant is the increased fun and pleasure they’re having while working out. That partner can guide them, but they are there to make the time pass by quickly by the fact that they are both having fun. So having a trainer partner is one way that you can have one of the same fitness secrets that nearly every celebrity has. But unlike the celebrities, you won’t have to worry about having dozens of cameras surrounding your house. How awesome is that?
