Weight Watchers participants in the United Kingdom, and soon within the United States, will have a brand new numerical program to keep track of their food intake. Weight Watchers claims the brand new program, called ProPoints, is more in line with current scientific knowledge. The brand new points system is also due for release within the United States. It most likely will not be called ProPoints, though.
Method with Weight Watchers now contains ProPoints
Weight Watchers is changing things within the United Kingdom. A brand new point-counting system was started. Called ProPoints, this system reevaluates the “point value” of most foods. Vegetables and fruits will, for probably the most part, be zero-point foods. The point system will start including alcohol and fast food “treats”. The new system may have proteins, carbs, fiber and fat accounted for. It will not be just calorie consumption anymore.
Using Weight Watchers points
The point system has been a part of the “Momentum” Weight Watchers program for the last few years. Weight Watchers has “points” assigned to each person. This corresponds with food. Manufactured Weight Watchers food has pre-calculated points, and points can be calculated for just about any food. Those on the diet will watch what they eat. They limit the amount coming in with the points.

Weight Watchers is just one of the dozens of players in the weight-loss industry. Billions of dollars go to the industry. The simple truth is, though, that much of the cash is spent trying to find an easy answer. Numerous diet plans are the very same as weight watchers in what they suggest.
