The third trimester of any pregnancy could well be described as the most difficult of all of them. Thankfully, during this time there are lots of things that can be employed in order to make the entire process go as smoothly and as quickly as possible.
One thing that you should always be doing is reminding yourself that you are almost at the end of the tunnel and that you have made it so far and simply need to keep on going. There is no doubt that these last few pregnant months that you go through will be extremely difficult and so constantly reminding yourself and giving yourself positive affirmations will provide a great motivation for you.
It is a good idea to tell yourself every day that you have got through the pregnancy first stage, second stage, and now you are nearing the end of your last stage. If you have managed to get this far then why would you start to become disheartened now? Getting as close as this is going to make you feel very eager to get right to the end and certainly time will drag. However, it is always a good idea to constantly remember that your baby is nearing and you will meet them soon.
Spoiling yourself is another good tactic that you can employ in order to make the time pass. You should take advantage of the fact that you are heavily pregnant and get people to come to you and spoil you as much as you can allow. As such, you should be getting your partner to support you and pamper you on a regular basis.
You should allow them to give you massages for your back and for your feet, and to generally help you out whenever you need it. Your partner will be completely aware that you are going through a fairly tricky time and they will know that it is their job to make you feel as wonderful as possible at all times.
Keeping yourself occupied is another good thing that you can do. While you will not be able to engage in many of the activities that you might otherwise be doing, there are certainly plenty of things you could do to pass the time.
For example, if you enjoy reading books then you should take as much time as you like in relaxing and getting involved in a good book. If you enjoy watching films then you should certainly do this as well. And, of course, do not forget to get all of your songs on the top of your MP3-player, when you go to the hospital.
